A vibrant grassroots initiative in Glastonbury is transforming the local community, and it needs your support to keep thriving. Lost Projects, founded by Gavin Lambert, Andrew Bisgrove, and Ed Etherington, has become a vital hub for creativity, offering spaces for skateboarding, music production, and visual arts. But now, the project is calling for sponsors to ensure its future.

Lost Projects started as a vision shared by the three founders, who wanted to create a safe and dynamic space for people of all ages to express their creativity. Gavin Lambert, CEO of the project, focuses on using skateboarding and music as tools for mental health support. Certified Skateboard GB coach Ed Etherington found his way into skateboarding during difficult times and now dedicates his efforts to help others through the sport, while Andrew Bisgrove, an electrician, brings his technical skills to enrich the initiative.

At Lost Projects, there's something for everyone. Whether you're perfecting your skate tricks in the handcrafted skate park, laying down beats in a repurposed school bus-turned-music studio, or expressing yourself through graffiti and visual arts, this space provides a much-needed sanctuary for Glastonbury's residents.

To sustain this creative haven, Lost Projects is offering three sponsorship tiers, with Bronze (£25), Silver (£50), and Gold (£100) packages.

  • Bronze Sponsorship (£50) Being a Bronze sponsor earns you a spot on the 'Proud Sponsors' board at Lost Projects, ensuring your name becomes a part of this inspiring initiative.
  • Silver Sponsorship (£100) A step up from Bronze, Silver sponsors not only get their names displayed but also receive six 2-hour skate lessons. Perfect if you've been wanting to hone your skateboarding skills or even learn from scratch.
  • Gold Sponsorship (£200) At the Gold level, you'll get a one-year skate season pass along with your name shining on the 'Proud Sponsors' board. An ideal choice for committed community members who see the long-term benefit of having such a space in Glastonbury.

Sponsors not only support the project but also gain access to skate lessons and season passes, depending on their level of contribution. Co-founder Andrew explained, "Sponsorship is crucial. This is a community project that has been needed for ages."

Lost Projects is also working to secure grants that will help expand its facilities, making the space more inclusive and accessible for all. Your sponsorship could play a vital role in helping this grassroots movement flourish.

If this sounds like something you'd like to support, head over to the Lost Projects website for more details. Your contribution can make a world of difference in sustaining and growing this much-needed community hub.
