The first ever Christmas ice rink at Clarks Village in Street will open to the public next week.

The shopping outlet will unveil the undercover rink on Tuesday (November 15) as it looks to offer shoppers a magical and memorable experience to celebrate the festive season.

Visitors can skate on the ice until Monday, January 2, while there are two-for-one sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays until December 8 and ice discos every Friday.

The rink will be located in the grounds of the historic Alfred Gillett Trust overlooking the outlet's restaurant terrace.

There will also quiet sessions for those with sensory needs,s as well as parent and toddler sessions for wobbly starters. Penguin and seal skating aids will be available for little ones and bob skates to help guests stay steady.

Chris Davis, centre director of Clarks Village, said: "We have been incredibly busy behind the scenes at Clarks Village preparing to unveil a very special Christmas for our guests.

"At the heart of the celebrations is our inaugural ice-skating rink, which looks spectacular. We're sure it will create a real buzz, and we can't wait for our guests to experience it for themselves."

Off-peak tickets for a 45-minute session cost £12.50 for adults, £10.50 for under-12s and £40 for a family of four. Skates are included in the ticket price, while skating aids are available to hire for £5 each. Booking a skating session will also give you access to some exclusive brand discounts. throughout the retail outlet.
