Glastonbury's Queen of Cups marks fifth anniversary
By Laura Linham 14th May 2026
Queen of Cups in Glastonbury is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a special menu bringing back some of the restaurant's best-loved dishes from across the last five years.
The Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant, led by Chef Patron Ayesha Kalaji, will launch the anniversary menu from Saturday, 17 May 2026.
Kalaji described the milestone as "a monumental achievement" and thanked staff, customers, suppliers and the local community for supporting the restaurant since it opened.
She said: "I have always referred to Queen of Cups as my first-born child, and watching it turn five is a monumental achievement.
"This is not an easy time for our industry, and I'm very acutely aware how lucky we are to have weathered the storm.
"I'm grateful for the staff, the customers, the suppliers, our neighbours, Glastonbury Town and everyone who has supported us on this journey."
Queen of Cups has become one of the South West's most recognised restaurants since opening in Glastonbury in 2021, earning a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2022.
Earlier this year, the restaurant entered the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs list at number 42, while Kalaji was named Chef of the Year 2026 at the same awards.
The restaurant has also received recognition at the Trencherman's Awards, where Kalaji previously won Best Trencherman's Chef. Queen of Cups was also shortlisted for Best Bar 2026.
