The undead returned to Glastonbury on Halloween and helped raise £713.17 for local charity Children's World.
Crowds packed the High Street on Wednesday, 31 October 2025, to watch the town's annual Zombie Walk, which featured ghoulish costumes, eerie performances and a lurching parade of the "undead".
The event began when the town crier released the zombies into the streets. Devito's Circus provided performance support, while Glastonbury Town Council and Glastonbury & Chilkwell Carnival Committee backed the event with funding and road management. Volunteers and youth committee members helped marshal the route.
Organisers said: "Your dedication to looking wonderfully gruesome was truly inspiring!"
Photographers Mark Adler and Charles Gervais were on hand to document the night, with photos due to be published soon.
Children's World, based on Northload Street, runs creative and educational programmes for children and young people in the area.
Plans are already under way for next year's Zombie Walk, with organisers calling for volunteers and performers to get involved.
