Glastonbury's Old Oaks Touring Park has been named Best Adult‑Only Site in the South West in the 2025 Campsites.co.uk Camping and Glamping Awards.

The park also secured Runner‑Up for the National Top Dog Award.

The awards, announced on 12 November 2025, recognise top UK camping, glamping and touring sites.

Old Oaks offers a guest lounge with self‑serve bar and pool table, a licensed shop stocking local produce, takeaway food options and a fishing lake. Visitors may choose touring pitches or glamping cabins with mini‑kitchenettes.

Dog‑friendly amenities include a 300 m secure dog walk, a three‑acre run field, a warm dog shower with free shampoo, dog‑friendly ice cream, homemade treats and a dedicated dog swimming pool.

The site holds a 4.94‑star rating on its travel listing and 95% of reviewers say they would recommend it. Guest comments include "This place is like a spa. So clean and well maintained" and "One of the best campsites I've stayed at in 40 years of camping/motorhoming".

In nearby Cheddar, Cheddar Bridge Touring Park was named Runner‑Up in the Best Adult Only Site in the South West category. Located a five‑minute walk from Cheddar village and 20 minutes from the gorge and caves, it offers a peaceful adult‑only touring environment.

Campsites.co.uk founder Martin Smith said: "Our annual awards give us the opportunity to celebrate the UK's best campsites, and this year's standards feel higher than ever."

The recognition highlights the strength of the Glastonbury and Somerset region for high‑quality adult‑only and dog‑friendly touring and glamping options. For those planning stays in 2026, early booking is advised.
