Former pupils and staff are being invited back to St John's Infant School in Glastonbury for a St John's Day reunion during the summer.

The event is due to take place on 26 June from 5pm to 7pm and is being billed as a chance for past members of the school community to look around the site, share memories and meet up with old friends.

Organisers say the reunion follows the success of last year's event and are now encouraging more former pupils and staff to take part.

Visitors are set to be invited to look around the school and share photographs and memories, with tea and cakes also being provided.

The notice adds: "Please RSVP so we can let the caterers know."

Anyone planning to attend is being asked to confirm in advance with the school office.
