Glastonbury roadworks for week commencing March 2

Next week is set to be a busy one for Bristol Water in Glastonbury as the company has seven sets of roadworks planned.

From Monday March 2 to Wednesday March 4, the company will be installing talbot boxes and meters in Old Wells Road, Ferryman Road, Austin Road and Pound Close.

On those days, it will also be replacing a stoptap in Bella View Gardens.

Bristol Water's work to replace a frame and cover in Chinnock Road is scheduled to be finished on Tuesday, as is work to repair a leak in The Archers Way.

Other roadworks in Glastonbury this week include:

The temporary traffic lights on the A361 Chilkwell Street for Wessex Water to repair or replace a cover and frame are scheduled to be removed by the end of Monday.

From Thursday March 5 to March 9, streetlights are going to be replaced in Feversham Lane.

Finally, the permit for scaffolding at Abbey Mews in the High Street is due to expire on Thursday and the permit for scaffolding at the Crown in the Market Place runs out on Sunday March 8.
