Police are searching for a man who ran from an abandoned car in Glastonbury — leaving behind a stash of suspected drugs.

The drama unfolded on Austin Road at around 6.10pm last night (Thursday, 23 October 2025), when officers were called to reports of a man fleeing towards Ferryman Road.

Despite a search of the area, the man was not found. Suspected Class A and B drugs were seized from the vehicle he left behind.

The man is described as white, in his 20s, with short dark hair. He was wearing tracksuit bottoms, a dark jumper and trainers.

Police are urging anyone with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area to come forward.

Call 101 quoting reference 5225297874, or fill in the online appeals form. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
