Glastonbury has welcomed the centrepiece of its festive decorations this afternoon - the town Christmas tree,.

This year, the tree was supplied by Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm. and it's arrival marks the beginning of the holiday season in the town.

The transportation and installation of the tree were smoothly handled by KRG Transport, who ensured its safe delivery and placement. The Town Council's Caretakers and Community Services Officers also played a crucial role, making final adjustments to secure the tree.

The official lighting of the Christmas tree is set to be a highlight of this year's Frost Fayre, happening this Saturday. The event is an opportunity for the community to gather and celebrate the start of the festive period.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend the Frost Fayre, where they can enjoy the communal atmosphere and the lighting of the tree, a traditional start to the holiday season in Glastonbury.
