Glastonbury and Street jobs roundup: Clarks, Millfield and more hiring

If your CV has been sitting untouched since the last series of The Apprentice, now might be the time to reopen it. New jobs across Glastonbury and Street include roles at Clarks, Millfield School and Brookside Academy Nursery, with vacancies ranging from marketing and education to catering, logistics and senior management.

Roles currently listed on Nub News cover education, marketing, care, logistics, manufacturing, finance and trades. So whether your dream is spreadsheets, saucepans or stacking pallets, there is something to click on.

In Street, Clarks is advertising for a Global Head of Marketing - Clarks Originals. Big shoes to fill, quite literally.

The company is also looking for a Junior Graphic Designer - Summer Intern, ideal for someone creative who can tell their CMYK from their OMG.

Millfield School is seeking a Clerk to the Governors and Compliance Officer, a full-time senior governance role with a closing date of Sunday, 24 May 2026. It is one for the highly organised, the discreet, and anyone who has ever looked at a meeting agenda and thought: "I can improve this."

Brookside Academy Nursery is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner - Level 3, with a listed salary of £25,562.81 a year and a closing date of Monday, 11 May 2026. Patience, kindness and the ability to remain cheerful in the presence of glitter are likely to help.

Other Street vacancies include a Service Manager, a Care Home Chef, and a Course Leader A Level Computer Science.

In Shepton Mallet, Somerset Community Foundation is advertising for a Senior Fundraising Manager, based at Yeoman House at the Bath and West Showground. A good fit for someone who can charm donors, juggle strategy and still remember where they saved the spreadsheet.

Manufacturing and warehouse roles include a Production Operative, a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, and HGV Class 2 Drivers. Not glamorous, perhaps, but try running Somerset without people who can actually move things.

Near Castle Cary, The Newt in Somerset has roles listed for a Senior Systems Lead and a Head of Finance - Commerce. Beautiful surroundings, serious responsibility, and presumably fewer excuses for dull lunch breaks.

In Wells, current listings include a Painter & Decorator, a Logistics Operative, and a Preparation / Cooking Operative.
