Emergency response in full swing as fire services rush to Street High Street incident

Fire services were called to Street High Street this morning following reports of a fire in a building above WH Smiths store at around 10am this morning.

Four fire appliances were dispatched to the scene to control and extinguish the fire.

There are no reports of any injuries related to the incident.

The area was promptly secured by the emergency teams for safety reasons.

Details about the fire's cause and the damage's extent are still unclear, and we have contacted Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue for further details.
