Channel 5's new drama "Finders Keepers," set and partially filmed in Glastonbury, has captured the attention of television audiences.

The show, originally titled "The Hoard," stars Neil Morrissey as Martin Stone, a metal detectorist who, along with his son-in-law Ashley (James Buckley), discovers a Saxon hoard in the Somerset countryside.

The drama unfolds as Martin, his daughter Laura (Jessica Rhodes), and wife Anne (Fay Ripley) grapple with the legal obligation to report their find, which is valued at half a million pounds.

Tempted by Ashley's suggestion to sell the hoard on the black market, the family soon finds themselves entangled with ex-con Grey 'Rocky' Rock (Shane Attwooll) and antiques dealer Denys Elland (Brendan Coyle). DS Carole Doyle (Rakhee Thakrar) adds to the tension as she investigates the case.

James Buckley, who plays Ashley, likened the show to "Breaking Bad," noting the seriousness of the situation faced by characters completely out of their depth.

Filming locations for "Finders Keepers" include Glastonbury's Market Place and High Street and Glastonbury Tor.

The Somerset countryside, where the Saxon hoard is discovered, was another key location for the series.

While local reviews of the show were primarily positive, the Independent called it: "Yet another entry in Channel 5's growing catalogue of undemandingly watchable midweek dramas."
