Plan ahead and avoid the rush

Most supermarkets in Street and Glastonbury will close early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, and all will be closed on Christmas Day. Boxing Day hours vary, with many shops closing earlier than usual or remaining closed entirely.

If you're planning a festive food shop, check your local store's opening times in advance. While the larger supermarkets like Tesco and Morrisons have extended Boxing Day hours, Aldi and Lidl will remain closed.

For those last-minute essentials, Co-op Food in Glastonbury is open longer hours on both Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Stay updated

Although these hours are correct at the time of writing, schedules may vary slightly, so it's always worth checking with individual stores or their websites for the most up-to-date information.

Make sure to shop early, avoid the crowds, and enjoy a stress-free festive season!
