Co-op is set to return to Glastonbury Festival for the third time in 2023, offering festival-goers a fully operational 6,000-sq ft food store, stocked with over 300 traditional supermarket food, drink, and camping essentials.

While the store will not sell alcohol due to the festival's rules, it will feature Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar, an exclusive Co-op product made using milk from the dairy herd that lives on the festival site. The event is expected to attract more than 200,000 attendees from June 21 to June 25.

The Co-op will also prioritise environmental sustainability by not selling single-use plastic bottles on-site. Instead, it will sell only recyclable aluminum cans of spring water, in addition to refillable water bottles that can be filled from water taps on the site.

More than 300 lines will be available to purchase in the Co-op store at the Park Home Ground at the festival, including festival essentials, fresh food, food-to-go products and drinks. Co-op's ethical ranges, including Fairtrade lines, 100 percent fresh British meat ranges and plant-based products will be also be available to purchase.

According to the Co-op's director of marketing live and local Amanda Jennings, "Music festivals create a happy, weekend community which we are perfectly placed to serve, getting closer to customers with our unique convenience offer, providing high quality and value for money essential items to help festival-goers make the most of their Glastonbury experience."

The Co-op's partnership with Glastonbury Festival is built on shared values of co-operation, community support, and ethical campaigning for meaningful change.
