Clarks Village to host first-ever food festival with global flavours

Clarks Village is serving up a brand-new foodie event this month, with its first-ever Food Festival taking place on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September.
The free two-day event will feature everything from speciality duck burgers and Persian chicken to Greek feasts and Nigerian street food. Local produce and sweet treats will also be on offer, alongside live music and entertainment.
Traders lined up include The Duck Shed, The Little Holding, Gyroland, Suva Boiz, Pan Crepes, Mexican specialists Nopalito, and Saffron Hill. The stalls will be set up on the lawn outside the Alfred Gillett Trust's Shoemaker Museum.
Chris Davis, Centre Director at Clarks Village, said: "We've found that our experiential events are always met with great excitement by guests, so we're thrilled to be launching our first-ever Food Festival.
"With a fantastic range of culinary offerings, we're setting the vibe for the perfect relaxed summer weekend."
The festival will run from 11am to 7pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, with food and drink available to buy. Shoppers can also take in live music, landscaped gardens, and more than 90 outlet stores with discounts of up to 60%.
It follows Clarks Village's recent dog-friendly Pawsome Pooch weekend, which saw professional pet photoshoots, agility displays and even a competition to find the outlet's next "Canine Executive Officer".
