Residents are being invited to take part in a community tree planting day at Baily's Factory in Glastonbury later this month.

The event, set for Sunday, 23 March, aims to help restore the local landscape and bring people together in a hands-on effort to improve the environment.

Participants are encouraged to bring suitable shoes, gloves, a spade, and plenty of enthusiasm as they join others in making Glastonbury's industrial heart greener.

A spokesperson for the organisers said: "It's the perfect opportunity to help restore the local landscape, connect with your neighbours, and give back to our planet."

The event will take place at Baily's Factory, starting from 10am. Organisers hope it will be a rewarding day of planting, teamwork, and community spirit.
