Glastonbury Town Council has installed new basketball hoops at Benedict Street, behind the tennis courts, in a move aimed at boosting local sports facilities.

The council hopes the new hoops will be a popular addition to the town's existing sporting provisions at Tor Leisure and provide more opportunities for young people to get active.

A spokesperson for the council said: "We're pleased to be able to offer these new hoops and hope they will have a positive impact on the community."

The project was made possible with support from Dowlas Property Group, while Pennys carried out the installation, and CRS Building Supplies (Wells Branch) provided the concrete.
