The Butleigh Playing Fields will host a Family Fun Day on Sunday, 16th July, promising an afternoon filled with fun activities and family entertainment.

From 12 noon to 4 pm, the local community and visitors can enjoy an assortment of activities, catering to all ages. Highlights of the event include an immersive Bugfest experience, a fascinating birds of prey demonstration, and captivating storytime sessions with Captain Redbeard and Queen Bon Bon.

Keeping the little ones engaged, there will also be a tractor-themed bouncy castle and hair feathers and glitter tattoos will be available to add a touch of sparkle to the day.

There will be a fish and chip van serving classic British comfort food. Other refreshments will be available throughout the day, and visitors can pick up keepsakes or gifts at the festival shop.

Organised by the Butleigh Parent Teacher Association (PTA), the event is set to raise funds for the Butleigh C of E Primary School. Nicola, Chairman of Butleigh PTA, encourages the local community and visitors to come along and enjoy the day while supporting their local school.

"All proceeds from the Family Fun Day will go directly toward Butleigh C of E Primary School," says Nicola. "This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together, have a great day out and help support our local school."

Entry tickets are priced at £5 per person, with all entertainment included in the price, making it a fun and affordable day out for the whole family.
