The weekend in Glastonbury is set to be a vibrant affair with a multitude of events spanning music, art, and community activities.

Jingu Bang

Kick off your weekend with Friday Night Jazz: Jingu Bang at the Red Brick Building from Friday to Saturday, offering an evening of sophisticated music in an inviting environment.

Grizzly and the Grasshoppers

If you're a fan of live performances, you're in for a treat as Grizzly & The Grasshoppers will be playing at The King Arthur from Friday to Saturday. And speaking of The King Arthur, we're extremely grateful for their support in sponsoring this newsletter.

Art enthusiasts should consider attending the Screen Printing Workshop with Faye Suzannah at the Heart of The Tribe Gallery from Saturday to Sunday. This hands-on experience is a fantastic opportunity to learn a new skill while creating something beautiful.

Those interested in history and architecture should not miss the Abbey Town Tour at Glastonbury Abbey on Saturday at 11:00. This guided tour will give you a unique insight into one of Glastonbury's most iconic landmarks.

If you're looking to switch things up a bit, consider attending the Compton Dundon Barn Dance at Compton Dundon Village Hall in nearby Somerton from 19:00–22:30 on Saturday. For a more cosmic musical experience, Hawklords Space Tour 2023 will be taking place at The King Arthur from 19:00–23:00 on the same day.

Alternatively, enjoy a blend of Western and Eastern music at Variations for Piano and Sitar by Andrew Goldberg at St John the Baptist's Church from 19:30–22:30.

Paul Young

Sunday evening provides two more musical options. First up, Paul Young takes you 'Behind The Lens' at Strode Theatre in Street at 19:00. Later, head back to The King Arthur for a Sunday Session with Paul Armer from 20:00–22:00 to round off your weekend on a musical note.

Whether you're a local or just visiting, there's something for everyone in Glastonbury this weekend. Mark these events in your diary and prepare for an exciting, fun-filled weekend.
