Principal People are excited to be recruiting for three Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisors to join an established telecoms organisation who is seeking a passionate, zealous, and innovative individual to join the safety team. This role will offer you the opportunity to work in a hands-on position working in an operational environment and an excellent opportunity to work autonomously.The successful HSEQ Advisor will be required to have experience with externally audited management, a skill in mentoring and coaching on site and have an basic understanding of street works and involvement with accident investigations.Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisors Wales and South West Utilities£40,000-£50,000 + Attractive PackageThe minimum requirements for this role are:

  • NEBOSH Construction or NEBOSH General or IOSH Managing Safely
  • The ability to engage and communicate with an experienced operational workforce
  • Our client is open to seeing candidates across in infrastructure or constriction sectors.
Key duties of the role include:
  • Support the site teams with H&S
  • Promoting positive H&S culture
  • Deliver the framework that promotes and encourages an organisational culture that champions an incident free environment.
  • Ensure effective implementation of HSEQ systems and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
  • Delivering basic H&S training when needed
  • Work alongside the safety team to implement a positive safety strategy
  • The ability to travel across the South West and Wales.
