Our Rail Contractor Client is looking for a General Foreman to support the growing portfolio of works based out of the regional office in the Somerset area.

Duties would include;

• Liasing with the Site and Project Manager
• Carrying out daily site briefings and inspections
• Supervise Railway maintenance work including Earthworks and general Civils Work
• Oversee site personnel and implement safety arrangements

The ideal candidate will have a background in Civil Engineering or Earthworks as well as experience working on rail projects, and would be able to work away from home on a regular basis, including weekends.

You must hold a SSSTS or SMSTS and CSCS as minimum and a PTS, COSS and First Aid certificate either current or expired would be an advantage as would any machine handler tickets.
