Job Title: Electrician

Location: Somerset

Salary: £40K plus van and fuel card

Build Recruitment are working on an exciting recruitment campaign with a housing association to recruit a number of positions in the Somerset area.

We are looking for a talented domestic electrician or electrical engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to deliver EICR and electrical repairs across their domestic properties in the area.

You will be included in an out of hours rota to provide emergency cover on a rota basis.

Experience working across the social housing sector would be an advantage but is not essential.

You will be required to undertake a DBS check and must have a valid driving licence.

Day to Day:

  • Fault finding and electrical maintenance
  • EICR Tests
  • Working in void and occupied housing association properties
  • Working alone or as part of a small team
  • Providing a friendly and professional service

Requirements:

  • Full driving licence
  • 2391 or 2392 (desirable)
  • 18th Edition
  • Relevant electrical qualification, City & Guilds 2330 Level 3, 2351 Levels 2 & 3 or 2360 pt 1&2. or NVQ Level 3
  • A DBS check will be required
