As part of the annual Glorious Open Gardens on behalf of St Margaret's Hospice, Kate and James Murdoch would like to invite you to Westleigh Farm, Westleigh, Lydeard St Lawrence, Taunton, Somerset TA4 3RE on Sunday 26th June 2022 between 11.00am - 5.00pm.

This tranquil garden, surrounding the Georgian farmhouse has been created over the last 16 years. Old stone barns provide backdrops to a series of steps and terraces sculpted from the hillside sheltering a profusion of borders. Vegetables, fruit, and Flowers grow side by side. The planting becomes wilder towards the edges to blend in with the countryside. A traditional flowering hay meadow, a recently replanted orchard and a wildlife pond in its earliest stages all help attract birds, butterflies, and insects. Behind the house, purple Marsh orchids and yellow buttercups thrive above the spring-fed ponds. Entry Fee: £5.00.
