One appliance from Glastonbury attended a shed fire on land at Beckery Old Road.
Upon their arrival the crew got to work fighting the fire using a compressed air foam jet. As there were cylinders in the shed, they removed those to a safe location and monitored them for signs of heating.
Once the fire had been extinguished the crew worked on dismantling the shed and removing the rest of the contents.
The shed was 75 per cent damaged by fire and the cause of the fire was accidental.

Fire crews from Wells, Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet were all mobilised to reports of a property fire in the above location.
On arrival, crews confirmed a small fire involving unattended cooking within an oven which was out prior to their arrival.
Crews ventilated the smoke from the premise using a positive pressure ventilation fan.
The fire caused 10% smoke damage to the property, and was deemed accidental.

Two fire engines from Wells and Shepton along with the rescue tender from Glastonbury were mobilised to reports of an RTC with 1 person still inside a vehicle.
Crews confirmed there was 1 person being assessed by paramedics and crews got to work formulating a plan to extricate. Crews assisted paramedics with first aid and at 1115hrs crews confirmed that the casualty was led from the vehicle safely by paramedics. Fire crews carried out traffic duties and left duty of care with police and ambulance.
A number of celebratory events and activities are planned to take place during National Volunteers' Week (1-7 June) to thank and honour Somerset's thousands of unsung heroes.
To honour Somerset's volunteers, the volunteering organisation Engage invited the public to submit 'Shining Star' nominations earlier this year. Award ceremonies will now take place in Taunton, 6 June, and Minehead, 8 June, where overall area volunteer winners for Taunton Deane and West Somerset will be announced.

One fire engine from Glastonbury along with the animal rescue team from Bridgwater were mobilised to reports of a sheep stuck in a water filled rhyne on Kennard Moor Drove.
On arrival crews confirmed the sheep was stuck and got to work using level 1 water rescue equipment and manual handling to get the sheep out. Crews gave the sheep oxygen therapy and a while later released the sheep back into the field.
