Drainline Southern Limited applies for goods vehicle licence in Glastonbury

By Laura Linham 14th Jan 2025

Drainline Southern Limited has applied for a Goods Vehicle Operator's Licence to use a site in Glastonbury as a base for its operations.

The company, based in West Sussex, has submitted an application to operate eight goods vehicles from the Somerset County Council Highways Depot on Wells Road Trading Estate, Glastonbury (BA6 9AS). No trailers are included in the application.

Residents or businesses near the depot who believe the licence could affect their use or enjoyment of the land are invited to submit written objections to the Traffic Commissioner. Representations should be sent to Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE, within 21 days of this notice, clearly stating the reasons for the objection.

Anyone submitting an objection must also send a copy to Drainline Southern Limited at their registered address: Pookbourne Lane, Sayers Common, Hickstead, West Sussex, BN6 9HD.

Further details and guidance on making representations can be found on the Traffic Commissioner's website.
