Parents - breathe a sigh of relief - World Book Day has been and gone.
World Book Day was created by UNESCO on 23rd April 1995 as a worldwide celebration of books and reading. It is marked in over 100 countries around the globe. The first World Book Day in the UK and Ireland took place in 1997 to encourage young people to discover the pleasure of reading.
But while kids love the annual event, finding costumes for the event can be a nightmare for some parents.
Still, as these photos show, it's all worth it.
Check out the children from Honeybees Playgroup in Glastonbury rocking their costumes as they celebrate a day of books and reading.
And here's 7-year-old Sophia Reed from St Benedict's School in Glastonbury getting ready to go to school as Hermione Granger.
Children and the staff at St John's Infant School were encouraged to dress as a word for World Book Day. Chlidren in the reception classes - Hedgehogs and Rabbits - spent the day immersed in bookish activities based on two children's classics - Supertato and The Tiger That Came to Tea.
They spent the day doing potato printing, mask making, yoga, den building - and of course, reading lots of stories.
Here's Jess from Rabbits, who went into school dressed as a bee, but finished the day covered in paint and smiles.
Pupils at St Dunstan's School in Glastonbury also got in on the action, with pupils at the secondary school celebrating the power of books and the effects they've had on their lives.
The corridors were alive with Hagrid, Dobby, Mad Hatters and aliens.
