Father Christmas was once again able to visit Morrisons last Christmas and his helpers were members of Glastonbury and Street Lions Club.

The reindeer behaved themselves and Santa enjoyed talking to lots of children including a FaceTime call with a family whose father was visiting the store.

The customers of Morrisons were in excellent festive spirit and extremely generous donating £817.61 to the Lions Charity Account. These funds have been used to support a number of local causes and groups including local foodbanks.

A spokesman for Glastonbury and Street Lions Club said "We want to thank Morrisons store and especially their Community Champion Alison Hall Leitch, for hosting us and making us feel so welcome in the store. The donations have hlepd us support local people and for that we are grateful. We will be in touch with Santa Claus to see if he is able to join us again next December in Morrisons, Glastonbury!"
