What's on in Glastonbury and Street: Mozart, fairies and Glastonbury Calling

Every Thursday we round up all the eye-catching events occurring in your area over the weekend and into the coming week.
Read on for not to be missed outings this week - but remember, this is just a few of the events that have caught our attention - there's loads more going on out there in your community.

Glastonbury Calling: The King Arthur, Friday and Saturday.
Glastonbury Calling is now a two-day festival run by the people and venues from the town. The event highlights the variety of great new music from the West, reinforcing the fact the town is always full of great music.
On the Friday 3rd March, you can catch Droogs, Liquid State and Adharma.
And on Saturday 4th March it's Cosmic Ninja, Reuben's Daughters, Bite the Buffalo, Two Day Coma, The Pagans S.O.H, Kiloton, Flo Parker Bombosh, ZANII and Jay Anderson.
This year, all the events are taking place at the King Arthur.

Glastonbury Fairy Weekend: Town Hall, Saturday and Sunday
Running over Saturday and Sunday at Glastonbury Town Hall, the event celebrates 100 years of the Flower Fairies. Special guest artists ANNE STOKES! Anne Sudworth and many more talented creators. The daytime fayre is free entry for the public.
The Avalon Fairy Fayre is to be held on Sat 4th & Sun 5th March 2023 with FREE ENTRY to the daytime fayre and is suitable for all ages! All are welcome who come in peace. There will be a selection of workshops and talks.
The Fairy Ball takes place on Saturday night with music from Perkelt and Celtic Giants! Plus surprises!

London Mozart Players with Victoria Sayles: Friday, Millfield School, Street
Vivaldi's well-known and much-loved Four Seasons, Mozart Symphony no. 29 - written in Salzburg in 1774 before striking out on his own in Vienna - and Starburst by Jessie Montgomery, written in 2012 for the Sphinx Virtuosi, part of the organisation that supports African-American string players in the Detroit area.
The London Mozart Players is one of the world's finest chamber orchestras and has, for more than 70 years, been dedicated to harnessing the passion and talents of its musicians, so that its audiences can experience and delight in the joy of world-class live performance. Violinist, Victoria Sayles is currently the associate leader of London Mozart Players and has recently joined the Royale Swedish Orchestra, Hovkapellet, as principle second violin and a regular guest section leader in the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
Crispin School presents Matilda Jr : Strode Theatre, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Matilda is the story of an extraordinary little girl with extraordinary powers.
The daughter of abusive parents, Matilda finds refuge in library books. When Matilda begins school, she faces a tyrannical and cruel headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, who believes all children are maggots.
Matilda finds companionship in her teacher, Miss Honey, who recognises Matilda's incredible abilities. Brave Matilda knows she has to stand up to the adults in her life and teaches Miss Honey and her classmates an important lesson, that you can have the power to change your story.
Film at Strode Theatre: The Whale, Saturday, Monday and Thursday
After the abandonment and death of his gay lover, 600- pound reclusive English teacher, Charlie (Brendan Fraser) has decided to eat himself to death. At the same time, Charlie tries to reconnect with his 17-year-old daughter for one last chance at redemption.
