Dan Shaw, Strode College Music Course Leader said: "We are privileged to work with some of the most talented young musicians in Somerset and 'Unplugged' is always an exciting event to hear original work being developed before it is released digitally."

'Strode Live' is a production company, students get involved in all aspects of organising an event, from booking the venue, designing posters, taking photos/videos, and dealing with the college Marketing Department for promotion. They also take care of the refreshments served and all technicalities.

The event is free, but donations are welcome. After the pandemic, the demand for live music is on the rise and consequently, the demand for up-and-coming musicians. As creative individuals, financial resources are important to help the students maintain their equipment and continue to entertain audiences.

The student's aim is to provide through their music, a relaxing experience and once again bring the community back together.

Everyone is invited, please come your support will make a difference.
