Every Thursday we round up all the eye-catching events occurring in your area over the weekend and into the coming week.
Read on for not to be missed outings this week - but remember: this is just a few of the events that have caught our attention - there's loads more going on out there in your community.

Pub Grub Night - Old Oaks Touring, Camping & Glamping, Saturday from 5.30pm
New for 2023, the Lavender Kitchen ladies are bringing Pub Grub night to Old Oaks. Due to the enormous price rises in the food industry and elsewhere, sadly Hog Roast night is no longer viable.
But fear not, there's something for everyone with the new Pub Grub nights. Pub classics will include pie, chips, peas and gravy (meat and veggie options), pasty and chips (various) and a weekly special, such as lasagne and garlic bread, beef bourguignon, cottage pie, stew & dumplings and a weekly veggie special.
Serving from 5.30pm to 7.15pm ish, all ingredients are locally sourced and served using biodegradable packaging.
UP THE RIFES launch party - SATURDAY 8pm, The Rifleman's Arms, Glastonbury
CHAS23 kicking the night off with some 4x4 bangers, followed by CUB shelling down some massive drum and bass, topped off with a multi genre b2b mash up to end the night on a high!
Free entry.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game Evening - 6.30pm The Geeky Gamer, Street
Do you play Yu-Gi-Oh! or want to learn to play?
It doesn't matter your experience, if you have a deck or not, or understanding, if you want to get involved then come along.
They are a friendly bunch who are happy to teach people new to the game, everyone is welcome
They play in the comfortable surroundings of The Geeky Gamer. Hot food, drinks and snacks are available all night

AN EVENING WITH JONATHAN AGNEW - Saturday 11 March 7:30PM, Strode Theatre, Street
Jonathan Agnew MBE DL is a Former Leicestershire and England Cricketer. Agnew made his first-class debut for Leicestershire in 1978 after impressing in local club cricket. A fast bowler with the ability to swing the ball, ‘Aggers’ played three Test Matches and three One Day Internationals for England before taking up his position in the commentary box. In
1987, Agnew began work with BBC Radio Leicester, and in 1988 he wrote an entertaining book on the life of a county pro - Eight Days A Week. He retired in 1990 to become Chief Cricket Writer of the Today newspaper and was appointed BBC Cricket Correspondent in 1991.

Coming up at the Bath and West Showground
Antique & Collectors Fair - 17th March - 19th March 2023
Admission: £10 from noon on Friday. Saturday and Sunday entry £5
The biggest antiques event in the West Country returns to the Bath & West Showground. Hosting 600 stands in the charmingly unique shopping venue, you can be sure to find something of taste and discover plenty of antiques, vintage and collectors items to take home with you!
Antiques and vintage items range from vintage teddies, fine china, silver, jewellery, paintings, stamps, coins, postcards, silver, crystal, militaria, restoration products and luxury leather luggage… and that's just the beginning!
