Wells and Glastonbury Young Farmers have raised a massive £3,240.97 for charity after braving stormy weather for their annual illuminated tractor run.

The festive convoy rolled through the Somerset countryside on Sunday, 21 December 2025, lighting up the night with decorated tractors and drawing crowds despite torrential rain.

The cash will be split between two local causes — St Margaret's Hospice and Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.

Organisers thanked everyone who turned out, saying: "Despite the bad weather, your support made this possible."
