Street skate park path earmarked for £10,000 replacement
By Laura Linham 5th Oct 2026
The path at Street Skate Park is set to be replaced under a project with an estimated contract value of £10,000.
Street Parish Council is inviting contractors to quote for removing the existing tarmac and laying a new path, including new concrete edging.
The council published the invitation on its website on Friday, 2 October, with contractors given until 30 October to submit their bids.
The proposed work covers the path rather than the skate ramps, with the replacement surface specified at an overall thickness of 100mm.
The procurement notice gives an estimated contract period running from 1 November to 11 December 2026. The £10,000 figure includes VAT and is an estimate rather than a confirmed final cost.
The tender documents say the council will consider price, quality, guarantees and references when choosing a contractor, and will not necessarily accept the cheapest bid.
Contractors interested in carrying out the work can find the invitation and supporting information through Street Parish Council's website.
