A key route through Street is set to shut for three days next month, with disruption expected for local bus passengers.

Leigh Road will be fully closed from 7am on Monday 11 August until around 6pm on Wednesday 13 August while Bristol Water carries out carriageway works.

Several bus services will be affected, with stops at Crispin Hall, The King Alfred and The Tanyard all temporarily out of use. Passengers are being urged to use stops on Glaston Road or at Hecks Cider Farm on Middle Leigh instead.

Those needing more information on First Bus services can call customer services on 0345 646 0707 (calls charged at 12p per minute plus network charges) or write to First Bus, Enterprise House, Easton Road, Bristol, BS5 0DZ.

For South West Coaches Ltd enquiries, call 01935 475872 or follow @southwestcoach1 on Twitter.
