Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 40s was assaulted outside a pub on High Street, Street, on Saturday, 22 November, shortly before midnight.

The man was attacked around 11.50pm after leaving the pub and was taken to hospital with a broken nose. He has since been discharged and is continuing his recovery at home.

Avon & Somerset Police have arrested a man in his late teens in connection with the incident. He has been released on conditional bail while investigations continue.

Officers are now seeking to identify two people pictured in CCTV images, who they believe may have witnessed the incident and could assist with enquiries.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting reference 5225328517.
