Glastonbury's own Knight's Fish Restaurant has been named one of the top three fish and chip shops in the country for menu innovation in the 2026 National Fish & Chip Awards.

The category celebrates takeaways that have pushed the boundaries of tradition by offering creative twists on classic dishes, including alternative fish options, gluten‑free choices and plant‑based items while maintaining high quality and strong customer appeal.

Finalists will find out who takes home the Menu Innovation title at a ceremony in London on 25 February. The recognition adds to Knight's growing reputation for quality food and fresh ideas in a sector that remains a cornerstone of British takeaway culture.
