Street man charged after public order arrest

A man arrested in Street on Friday, 21 March, has now been charged with a public order offence and banned from Orchard Road under bail conditions.
Neighbourhood police said the arrest was made in the village by PC Higgins and PC Bennett.
In an update, officers said: "On the 21st of March, PC Higgins and PC Bennett arrested a male in Street for a public order offence."
Police added: "The individual has since been charged and issued bail conditions prohibiting him from attending Orchard Road, Street."
Officers used the update to thank local residents and said they would keep responding to complaints about anti-social behaviour.
"Thank you to the local community for your continued support," they said. "We will continue to respond to reports of anti-social and abusive behaviour."
Residents were also urged to keep reporting incidents.
Police said: "If you witness any further issues or have concerns, please report them via 101 or 999 in an emergency."
