Clarks Village kicked off its Christmas season on Thursday, (7th November) with a bid to break the record for the world's biggest elf skate.
A total of 193 skaters dressed as elves took to the real-ice rink for the launch event, led by Father Christmas and Head Elf Bubbles Sugarplum.
Organisers are hailing it as a record-breaking night, following last year's record-setting 'most skating Santas' event at the Somerset outlet.
All participants wore full elf costumes, with the youngest aged just two. Each skater received a rosette and certificate for taking part in the attempt.
The 550-square-metre rink, located next to the Shoemakers Museum on-site, played host to live DJs and festive entertainment throughout the evening. Guests were offered free tickets to join the record attempt.
Centre Director Chris Davis said: "The World's Biggest Elf Skate was the biggest and best festive ice skate we've ever held and was truly unforgettable."
