Wind speeds are forecast to stay low, which will come as a relief to cart teams who rely on calm conditions to manage costumes, effects and props during the illuminated parade.

As ever, anyone heading into Glastonbury is being advised to dress warmly, plan ahead for road closures and give themselves extra time to get into position.
