This weekend, Glastonbury is set to be a hub of Halloween festivities, ensuring there's something for every age and interest.
We'd like to extend a special thank you to The King Arthur for sponsoring this weekend's roundup and encourage you to check out their host of events.
Kicking off the spooktacular weekend, The King Arthur is hosting a variety of musical acts starting on Thursday, 26th October. Whether you're into classic rock, grunge or something entirely different, this venue has got you covered. The real highlight of their Halloween week, however, is the themed DJ night on Saturday called "Beer & Loathing in Glas-Vegas," complete with an original movie screening and fancy dress competition.
Not to be outdone, the King William Skittle Alley will be the gathering point for the much-anticipated Glastonbury Zombie Walk on 28th October. From 3:00 p.m., the High Street will transform into a parade of the walking dead. You'll be able to complete your zombie look with face paints, fake blood and rags, turning the area into a scene from your favourite horror movie.
On the same day, The Big Creative Samhain Market will be held at The Assembly Rooms, offering an assortment of local crafts and treats from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If weddings are more your style, the Day of the Wed-Alternative & Traditional Wedding Fair will take place at The Red Brick Building on 29th October at the Red Brick Building from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
But that's not all! Lost Projects is also getting into the Halloween spirit. The venue, known for its creative arts and skateboarding, is hosting a Halloween skate event on Friday, 27th October. Anyone who comes in fancy dress gets to skate for free. The park has set times for different age groups, ensuring that everyone can get in on the fun while staying safe.
Finally, for the young ones, there's a Halloween KIDZ RAVE on Sunday, 29th October, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at The King Arthur where fancy dress is encouraged and prizes will be awarded. Later that evening, Jol Rose performs a special Sunday Session from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
So whether you're keen to show off your skateboarding skills, get into character as a zombie, or just enjoy some quality live music, this Halloween weekend in Glastonbury offers a spooktacular range of activities for everyone. And let's not forget to thank The King Arthur once more for making this weekend extra special.
