Glastonbury-based construction company Melhuish & Saunders has thrown its support behind a major school event in Street, acting as Platinum Sponsor for a spectacular laser show.

The event, organised by the Friends of Brookside School PTA, will take place at Brookside Academy on 15 March, offering an evening of entertainment for families and the local community. Highlights include a laser show by Fusion Event Services, a performance from Wookey Hole Circus, and a range of food and refreshments, including fish and chips.

Melhuish & Saunders, whose headquarters are in Glastonbury, said they were proud to support such a community-focused event. The company has a long history of working with schools and public buildings across the region.

The event has also attracted sponsorship from several other local businesses, including The Mid Somerset Consortium for Initial Teacher Training, JDP Digital, RDS Haulage SW Limited, Min2Max Retailing, Daveys Services Limited, Mum To Maid, and Jennarations.

Tickets for the event are available online: Friends of Brookside store.
