This July, St Michael's Church in Somerton will resonate with the legendary sounds of Fleetwood Mac, as the world-renowned tribute act, Fleetwood Bac, takes the stage.

This performance is part of the eclectic Somerton Music & Arts Festival, leading up to the eagerly anticipated Somerstock, headlined by the jazz-funk giants Shakatak.

Fleetwood Bac, celebrated as the UK's most authentic Fleetwood Mac tribute, boasts an endorsement from Mick Fleetwood himself and accolades from Peter Green's biographer.

They stand as the pioneers in replicating the iconic 'Rumours' era line-up, bringing the magic of Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood to life.

Festival chairman Cliff Bassettsaid: "This is set to be a landmark event, and we're thrilled to bring the essence of Fleetwood Mac to Somerton this July."

The festival isn't just stopping at a trip down memory lane with Fleetwood Bac; a battle of the bands event on 19th April at the Parish Rooms is your ticket to witness fresh talent vying for the chance to kickstart Somerstock on 12th July. The line-up includes Vetna, with their genre-mashing sound, Absolute Zero, the young guns with prodigious talent, and Junebug, the rising stars from Strode College.

The festival vibes continue with Lonely Tourist and Fly Yeti Fly gracing the Etsome Arms on 5th and 6th July, respectively. Lonely Tourist returns by popular demand, offering 'Bathos-fuelled pop gems', while Fly Yeti Fly promises a soothing blend of folk, marked by rich vocal harmonies and intricate guitar work.

An Arts Exhibition will also be kicking off on 25th May at the Parish Rooms, adding a visual feast to the sonic bounty.

"Somerstock was a sell-out hit last year, so snagging your tickets early is a must," advises Bassett.
