RTC Make safe at Elm Close, Wells

Date: 02.06.2018Time: 10:14Location: Elm Close, WellsTwo fire engines from Wells and Shepton along with the rescue tender from Glastonbury were mobilised to reports of an RTC with 1 person still inside a vehicle. Crews confirmed there was 1 person being assessed by paramedics and crews got to work formulating a plan to extricate. Crews assisted paramedics with first aid and at 1115hrs crews confirmed that the casualty was led from the vehicle safely by paramedics. Fire crews carried out traffic duties and left duty of care with police and ambulance.
