The 8th annual Rock Against Cancer event, held at The King Arthur in Glastonbury, raised £400 for Macmillan in the South West.

The event, organised by promoters Rock Against Cancer, relied on ticket sales and the participation of music aficionados to generate funds.

According to organisers, the day's success was a result of community support and engagement with the power of music as a force for social impact.

This year's lineup featured diverse rock acts, each contributing to the overall atmosphere. Headlining the event was In Fear, followed by Liquid State and Petrol Hoers. Other bands that took part included ENDSCAPE, Andromedous, Lewis Poole, Nouvelle, These Foundations, and Murder Kid.

The King Arthur in Benedict Street provided the space for the day's activities. The venue staff, led by Gemma, coordinated the logistics, and Connor served as the sound engineer. Drum technician services were provided by Jason from No Thursday War.

Photographers Connor Standfield, Keith Dunford, and Stuart Williamson were on hand to document the day, capturing moments that participants can relive as they await next year's event. Organisers have confirmed that Rock Against Cancer will be returning to The King Arthur next year, with the date and lineup to be confirmed.
