Road traffic collision, persons trapped at Main Street, Walton

Date: 16.08.2019Time: 22:10Location: Main Street, Walton, Street.The Fire Service were called to reports of a road traffic collision at the above address. Fire Control sent one Fire Engine from Street, one Fire Engine from Glastonbury and the Rescue Tender also from Glastonbury.
Once the crew got in attendance the officer in charge confirmed this to be a two vehicle road traffic collision with one male still within the vehicle. The crews liaised with the paramedics on scene and had to rapidly extricate the male due to his condition. There were four other casualties injured from this road traffic collision being treated on scene by paramedics.The crews made the vehicles involved safe and four of the casualties have been conveyed to hospital via land ambulance.
