A road in Glastonbury is closed from today (May 28) for 11 days for sewer renovation work.

Old Wells Road will be subject to a 24-hour road closure from today until June 7 for Wessex Water to do their work.

The road is closed for 660 metres from the junction with Watts Corner to the junction with Holywell Lane, but a diversion is in place.

Following the road closure, there will be temporary traffic lights in place from June 10 to 13 while the lining works are completed.
