Street and Glastonbury entrepreneurs are in for a treat as the Chamber of Commerce hosts a special breakfast event at Mamfs Cafe, Glastonbury, on Monday, 11 March 2024.

Between 8:00 am and 10:00 am, local business owners are invited to enjoy a complimentary bacon roll and hot drink while discovering how they can tap into a £23.6 million funding pot designed to rejuvenate the local economy.

This event marks the launch of the Somerset Supply Chain website, a new initiative aiming to connect local businesses with significant contract opportunities. The funding is part of a wider effort to stimulate economic growth in the area, ensuring that Glastonbury and Street businesses have first dibs on the upcoming contracts.

The Chamber of Commerce is keen to ensure that local entrepreneurs have all the information they need to benefit from this investment. By attending the session, business owners can learn more about how to register on the Somerset Supply Chain website and position themselves at the forefront of this economic opportunity.

Attendance is free, with the organisers encouraging potential attendees to either confirm their participation on Facebook or simply turn up on the day. This initiative not only promises to bring a financial uplift to the area but also offers a fantastic networking opportunity for local business owners.
