Police have issued an urgent appeal for a man who has gone missing in Somerset.

They say that 46-year-old Jason has gone missing from his home in Taunton, and they have serious concerns for his welfare.

He's a white man about 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build, usually clean-shaven, with dark hair flecked with grey.

His last confirmed sighting was in Taunton town centre at about 11am on Tuesday 24 January. He was wearing grey trousers, a green jacket, grey and orange trainers and carrying a back pack (like those pictured).

If you know where Jason is now please call 999 and give the reference 5223018929. If you have any other information call 101 and give the same reference.
