Police appeal after hit and run in Glastonbury

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit-and-run in Glastonbury on January 20.

A woman who had been riding her bike on the A39, near Tin Bridge Roundabout needed hospital treatment after being in a collision with another vehicle at 5.15am.

She taken to hospital with serious injuries, but they are not considered to be life-threatening.

The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene., and police believe their vehicle may have sustained some damage as a result of the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or may have footage that could help the police with their investigation, is asked to call 101 and quote reference number 5223017373.
