Open-air cinema launches at Clarks Village with blockbusters and classics

Clarks Village has launched ticket sales for its inaugural open-air summer cinema, opening in August.

The Open-Air Cinema at the Somerset shopping outlet will host three screenings a day, featuring blockbuster hits, family favourites, and 80s classics.

Running from Tuesday, August 6, until Sunday, August 18, the film schedule will include:

  • Back to the Future (PG)
  • Frozen (PG)
  • Encanto (PG)
  • Moana (PG)
  • SING (PG)
  • The Greatest Showman (PG)
  • The Super Mario Bros. Movie (PG)
  • Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone (PG)
  • Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban (PG)
  • Jurassic Park (PG)
  • Mamma Mia! (PG)
  • Grease (PG)
  • Barbie (12A)
  • Bohemian Rhapsody (12A)
  • The Goonies (12A)
  • Top Gun: Maverick (12A)
  • Elvis (12A)
  • Dirty Dancing (15)
  • The Rocky Horror Picture Show (15)
  • Rocketman (15)
  • Top Gun Original version (15)
  • Pretty Woman (15)

Located on the lawn of the Alfred Gillett Trust, opposite Clarks Village's Restaurant Terrace, the Open-Air Cinema has capacity for 300 guests. Screening times will be at 12pm, 3.30pm, and 7pm each day, with gates opening 45 minutes in advance. Food and drink will be available at the event, and guests are invited to bring their own deckchairs and blankets. A limited number of pillows and blankets will also be available to hire and can be pre-booked in advance.

Tickets for the Clarks Village Open-Air Cinema are priced from £8 for under-12s and £12 per adult, with VIP tickets, which include a deckchair in a prime position and a treat box, on sale for £20. Each day, the off-peak 12pm movie will be discounted to £5 per person or £18 for a family ticket. Under ones are free at all times.
