Nub News expands to cover Street

27th Nov 2024 | Local News
It's official: Glastonbury Nub News is now Glastonbury and Street Nub News, marking a new chapter in celebrating the close ties between the two communities.
The decision reflects the long-standing connection between the towns, both geographically and in everyday life.
Editor Laura Linham explained, "Glastonbury and Street are deeply intertwined. People in Glastonbury often head to Street for shopping, work, and school, while Street residents visit Glastonbury for events, entertainment, and its unique independent shops. It's a natural fit to cover both places under one banner."
The expanded focus means even greater coverage of news, events, and stories from Street, while maintaining the same trusted, clickbait-free news service that Glastonbury readers have come to rely on.
"Nothing is changing for Glastonbury readers—you'll still find all the local stories that matter most. For Street, this is an opportunity to share even more of your community's news, events, and achievements," Laura added.
Residents from both towns are invited to contribute their stories, whether it's celebrating local achievements, highlighting community events, or addressing local issues. To share your news, email [email protected].
